Blumhouse Productions, the brainchildren behind horror hits Paranormal Activity , Insidious , The Purge and Sinister , has teamed with the ABC network to create a pilot for an upcoming TV series about haunted houses . . . or a haunted house. Details are scarce. Literally, that's all we know about the project. The production company previously worked with ABC on the series The River, which I never bothered to check out during its original run. Founded by Jason Blum, Blumhouse is rapidly become the go-to production company for big screen horror. The above mentioned titles aside, Blumhouse has Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones and The Purge 2 scheduled for release next year and Insidious: Chapter 3 en route for 2015.
