It's that time of the week again! Today we have a bit of a fiesta as we explore a drink called the "Mexican Peach"... The recipe I have calls for 1.5 ounces of tequila, 1 ounce of peach schnapps, 1 ounce margarita mix, and 1 ounce cranberry juice. To fill up a standard short tumbler, I needed to multiply the recipe ingredients by three. Though I kept it at one slice of lime for garnish- since three maraschino cherries is class, but three lime slices is excessive. I'm not going to lie. I'm not a fan of peaches to begin with. I find them to be rather sweet and sugary. This drink isn't all that different in terms of sweetness. It DOES taste like peaches though- so if you are a fan of them, you'll probably like this drink. The cranberry juice does mellow it out a bit by adding a touch of tartness to it... but not enough to really appeal to me though.
