There's three reasons why Basementites should get excited about Daylight's End. The action/horror flick is directed by William Kaufman and stars Johnny Strong . That's right, the duo that made Sinners and Saints, one of the best action movies of the last couple of decades. It also stars Lance Henriksen , who is reason enough to watch anything, in my biased opinion.

It's no deep, dark secret that Shawn and I have a lot of man love for director William Kaufman and actor Johnny Strong's love letter to 80s action cinema, Sinners and Saints. So when we found out Kaufman and Strong have another bad-to-the-ass movie headed our way, we put down or beers and took notice. A post-apocalyptic zombie thriller, Daylight's End sees Strong joined by Sinners and Saints co-stars Louis Mandylor and Mark Hanson, as well as UFC champ Anderson Silva and the great Lance Henriksen. Impressed? We are. Chad Law wrote the film. But what's it about?
