I don't know. I just don't know.
On the one hand, I'm excited that Linda Hamilton, James Cameron and Arnold Schwarzenegger are reunited for a Terminator movie. THAT is very cool.
On the other hand, this latest entry feels like Hollywood programming. Two Terminators -- one Hispanic, the other female -- battling it out in large set pieces, jumping and flipping through the air like they leaped out of a Marvel movie. Show a bit of Arnold, as that's expected, a lot of Hamilton, as that's the big lure, and amp up the CGI.
This looks good, but not great. It's no T2. Suffice to say I'm skeptical. But judge for yourselves:
Terminator: Dark Fate is directed by Deadpool's Tim Miller, and produced by Cameron. It hits theatres Nov. 1.
